1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Taxi Policy website (the "Site") and our insurance advisory services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Site or use our services.

2. Services Description

Taxi Policy acts as a Point of Sales Person (POSP) advisor facilitating the sale, renewal, and servicing of motor insurance policies. We are an intermediary connecting customers with IRDAI-registered insurance companies.

  • Quotes provided are based on the information supplied by you and current insurer rates.
  • Final premium amounts are subject to insurer verification and underwriting approval.
  • We do not underwrite insurance risk or make claim settlement decisions.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information regarding your vehicle and previous insurance history.
  • Ensure that documents submitted (RC, previous policy) are genuine and unaltered.
  • Acknowledge that providing false information (such as false No Claim Bonus declarations) may lead to policy cancellation and claim rejection by the insurer.

4. Quotes and Pricing

All insurance quotes provided on the Site or via WhatsApp are indicative and non-binding until full payment is realized and the policy is successfully generated by the insurance company. Premium rates, taxes, and coverage limits are subject to change without prior notice.

5. Policy Issuance & Payment

Policy issuance is solely at the discretion of the respective insurance company. Payment made for a policy does not guarantee issuance if the insurer's underwriting guidelines are not met. In such cases where a policy cannot be issued, the premium amount will be refunded directly by the insurance company as per their refund policy.

6. Claims Assistance

Our claim assistance service is advisory in nature. While we will guide and support you through the documentation and filing process, the final decision regarding claim approval, settlement amount, and processing time rests entirely with the insurance company and their designated surveyors.

7. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by Taxi Policy and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Taxi Policy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services or the outcome of any insurance claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
